About Jahmal Banks
Jahmal Banks is a talented wide receiver who made a significant impact during his time at Wake Forest before transferring to the University of Nebraska. Banks brought a commanding presence to the field, playing in every game with 10 starts in his final season with the Demon Deacons in 2023. He finished that season with 59 receptions for a team-high 653 yards, showcasing his ability to consistently contribute to his team's offense.
Over his four-year career at Wake Forest, Banks amassed more than 100 catches and over 1,400 receiving yards, solidifying his reputation as a reliable and productive receiver. In recognition of his outstanding play, he earned Honorable Mention All-ACC honors in 2022. In January of 2024, Banks joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a strong work ethic. In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Banks also excelled academically and in his community. He graduated from Wake Forest in December of 2023 and was honored with inclusion on both the Brook Berringer Citizenship Team and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2024.
With one season of eligibility remaining, Jahmal Banks is poised to make an immediate impact at Nebraska, both as a leader on the field and as a role model off of it.
