CADE MCDONALD

Cade McDonald played 12 games for Miami in 2024, starting 11, and was named Academic All-MAC and Miami's Offensive Skill Player of the Year. He finished the season with 52 receptions for 631 yards and three touchdowns. McDonald opened the year with back-to-back 100-yard games against Northwestern (105) and Cincinnati (135). In 2023, he played in 13 games, making five starts, and was named Second Team All-MAC as a returner. He had 28 catches for 353 yards and three touchdowns and led the MAC with a 12.7-yard average per punt return.

 

McDonald had a career-high 78 yards on six catches in a win at Western Michigan. He also played 25 games at Michigan State, earning Academic All-Big Ten honors three times and recording five receptions for 46 yards. McDonald graduated from Naperville Central, where he helped lead the team to the DuPage Valley Conference Championship and was named to the first-team Naperville Sun Football All-Area Team.
